About the Project

The idea behind Career Connect is to improve awareness and enhance knowledge about career education in underprivileged communities. With a multipronged approach, we hope to educate students about career opportunities, scholarships, and training programs that can help them fulfill their career goals. This includes curating a comprehensive handbook that provides key information on vocational career opportunities and how these can be accessed along with creating a database with information on numerous skills-training programs including information about eligibility, application process, and potential career paths that can be tapped through these programs. 

We believe in not just educating, but empowering young students to dream big. In this vein, we will be authoring and illustrating a series of storybooks that explore the journey of three young friends as they shadow professionals in the field of healthcare, education, and law. To further this cause of empowerment, we wish to organize free career counseling sessions for students to identify their aptitude and comprehend the landscape of the careers they are keen to pursue.
